WARRANTY POLICY

At Trucking Container, we are committed to providing high-quality new and used shipping containers that meet our customers’ expectations. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage available for our products and outlines the responsibilities of both Trucking Container and our customers.

1. Our Commitment

We stand behind the quality and structural integrity of the containers we sell. Every container is inspected before delivery to ensure it meets the condition described at the time of purchase.

Warranty coverage varies depending on the container grade and condition.

2. Warranty Coverage by Container Type

One-Trip (New) Shipping Containers

Our One-Trip (New) Shipping Containers include:

10-Year Structural Warranty
10-Year Wind and Water Tight Warranty

These containers are guaranteed to remain structurally sound and free from leaks caused by defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

Multi-Trip (MT) Shipping Containers

Our Multi-Trip Containers include:

5-Year Structural Warranty
5-Year Wind and Water Tight Warranty

These containers may show minor cosmetic wear but are guaranteed to maintain their structural integrity and weather resistance throughout the warranty period.

Cargo Worthy (CW) Shipping Containers

Cargo Worthy Containers include:

5-Year Structural Warranty
5-Year Wind and Water Tight Warranty
Guaranteed to meet Cargo Worthy standards at the time of sale.

These containers are suitable for storage and may also qualify for international shipping when certified.

Wind and Water Tight (WWT) Containers

Wind and Water Tight Containers are guaranteed at the time of delivery to:

Protect contents from normal weather conditions.
Have functional doors.
Be structurally secure for storage purposes.

Unless otherwise stated, WWT containers include a 1-Year Wind and Water Tight Warranty.

As-Is Containers

Containers sold As-Is are offered at discounted pricing and are not covered by any warranty, except where required by applicable law.

Customers purchasing As-Is containers acknowledge that cosmetic damage, rust, dents, repairs, flooring wear, or other defects may exist.

3. Refrigerated (Reefer) Containers

Unless otherwise stated in writing, refrigerated containers include:

90-Day Warranty on the refrigeration unit from the date of delivery.

Warranty coverage applies only to defects in normal operation and does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, power supply issues, or lack of maintenance.

4. Container Modifications

For professionally installed modifications completed by Trucking Container, we provide a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty covering defects in our installation or fabrication.

This warranty does not cover customer-supplied materials, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by third parties after delivery.

5. What Is Covered

Subject to the terms of this policy, the warranty may cover:

Structural failure due to manufacturing defects.
Roof leaks caused by defective materials or workmanship.
Door locking mechanism defects.
Factory-installed components that fail under normal use.
Wind and water intrusion caused by structural defects.

If a covered defect is confirmed, Trucking Container may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the product.
Replace the affected component.
Replace the container with a comparable product.
Issue a partial or full refund where appropriate.

6. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Cosmetic dents, scratches, surface rust, or paint fading.
Damage caused by accidents or improper handling.
Improper placement or installation.
Ground settling or foundation movement.
Flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, fire, or other natural disasters.
Damage caused by chemicals or corrosive materials.
Unauthorized alterations or repairs.
Damage caused during relocation by third parties.
Normal wear and tear.
Condensation or moisture caused by climate conditions.
Abuse, neglect, or misuse.
Electrical or plumbing systems added after purchase unless installed by Trucking Container.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

Use the container for its intended purpose.
Place the container on a stable, level foundation.
Perform reasonable maintenance.
Report warranty concerns promptly.
Avoid unauthorized structural modifications.

Failure to follow these requirements may void the warranty.

8. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers should contact our customer service team and provide:

Full name.
Order number or proof of purchase.
Delivery date.
Photos or videos showing the issue.
A description of the problem.

Additional information may be requested to evaluate the claim.

9. Inspection

Trucking Container reserves the right to inspect the container before approving any warranty claim. Inspections may be conducted remotely using photographs and videos or through an on-site inspection when necessary.

10. Limitation of Warranty

This Warranty Policy is limited to the repair or replacement of covered defects. It does not cover indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, loss of profits, or damage to stored property.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to every customer.

11. Transferability

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

12. Changes to This Warranty

Trucking Container reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Any changes will apply to purchases made after the revised policy is published on our website.
